Bobber`s in Anderson

I had heard great things about the tenderloin sandwich here. Two of my children had just completed a 10-mile hike with the scouts so I rewarded them with the Dole Whip waffle cone. The Dole Whip was everything I expected it to be and the kids loved it. The tenderloin was twice the size of the bun which was to be expected and served exactly how I ordered it. The fries that came with it we're good but nothing you wouldn't expect. Service was extremely friendly even though they were practicing social distancing. Overall extremely pleased and we will be back.

This little restaurant hidden in Shadyside is absolutely amazing. The owner is a very nice lady who catered to our every need. The food was perfect and well priced. We were lucky enough to be there on a day when they had caramel apples which were to die for. If it's warm enough when you go I highly suggest setting outside and watching The Wild Life or enjoying a cool breeze. Is an amazing experience I will be back there again soon. Thank you for being there.

Good food. Price does not match what you get for sandwich and chips. Maybe if fries did not cost more and another side. If combo would fit price.

Great place to unwind or grab a bite if you've been fishing or enjoying the other offerings at shadyside. I like the Reuben and my daughter likes the grilled cheese. My parents say the tenderloin is good also but I'm not a tenderloin man.

Very friendly people and great food! The view off the back deck is amazing. The trails around the lake provide a shady comfortable place to walk.

I knew I couldn't afford to spend 6.50 on icecream, but it was some good icecream, inside of a good waffle cone. Made my day, honestly (I was the source of all the kids' envy). Plus, everyone there is always nice.

I had my doubts but was very surprised. Food is outstanding, service was excellent and portion size was more than enough. Great place.

The service was great. We had the French toast. The portions was unexpected for the price. The atmosphere made you feel as you were at home. The owner was friendly and very personable. Yes I will be making a point to go back and try more of the food. Coffee is served in a mug. If any of you coffee drinker need to know. All in all I give 5 stars. I have been hearing about the biscuits and gravy from Bobber's and finally tried them today. They are every bit as good as I had heard! Other reviews say the coffee is great, but I thought it was a little weak.There is inside seating for about 20 people, plus lots of outdoor seating. Some of the outdoor seating is under a roof, and you can see the lake from just about anywhere you sit. It is a rustic place (it is in the old bait and tackle shop, thus the name). Good prices, friendly people. Definitely glad I gave them a try!

Bobber's is a cool little place in Anderson. I spent an hour on the bike riding around Shadyside Lake then stopped in here to get a veggie Panini. It was delicious and I highly recommend it.

You would never expect how good the food is here. I had the tenderloin sandwich and it was the best I've ever tried. The owner and staff are very accommodating and everyone is very nice. It is relaxing to sit on the patio and look out over the lake while you eat. As an added bonus, you can also buy fishing bait there too.

Great little gem of a restaurant. Owner was there talking to customers enjoying the day.

Great Food & Great BUNCH of NUTS! We are a very trendy & awesome group that come here all the time. This is our Favorite Place!! The waitresses are a bunch of crazies & we adore them the mostest. BUT the owner tops the cake with the best cuteness & Sass around town.

Great place. If you want a at home feel then this is it. Food is great home cooked taste!! Nice staff open till 6pm but isn't changed on here love it will be a regular.

This is a great little find in Anderson Indiana. It’s a bait and tackle shop with a restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a pond with ducks. Mu wife and I both got the breaded tenderloin and it was good. Heavy on the peppery seasoning which I like. Wife didn’t so much. I would rate it a 7.5 when compared to others I’ve had. I would say it’s probably in my top ten but not my top 5. Would I go again? yes. Would I get the tenderloin again? Probably or maybe try their BLT.

Right on the marina of the lake. Great views of the area and you can see the ducks and geese hanging out across the way. Haven't tried the food yet but will next time I'm out this way.

The Ruben Sandwich I had was awesome. I really enjoyed it. The tenderloin my husband got was huge. This was my first time visiting and it won't be my last. 😊👍🏾

This place is terrific. Great people and great food. I met some out of town friends for a quick bite. They loved their food and the location. I had a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy and apple crisp. The B and B challenged mine- it was that good. And the HOMEMADE apple crisp was warm and tasty. nom!

The food was delicious. Everything taste wonderful.

Food was yummy and was great service. Place was busy for lunch, but they were quick. Fun foe me my four yr old and my 74 yr old dad. I will be back!
